Harvest House is a non-for-profit addiction treatment centre that takes men from the street and jail and gives them the opportunity to transform their lives. For over 40 years, we’ve helped men get sober, heal from their pasts, and realize their potential.

Social entrepreneurship has been central to Harvest House from the start. In the early 1980s, we began selling handmade picnic tables by the roadside, and things grew from there! We’ve always believed in raising funds by creating products of value for our supporters to enjoy.

Men in our program are directly involved in creating, selling, and distributing products. Our goal is to use the Harvest House store to help these men develop skills that will give them greater opportunities for success.

When men graduate Harvest House, they re-enter society with not only a solid foundation in addiction recovery, but also with experience and employable skills to put on their resumé. Our graduates have gone on to own successful businesses, work in sales and management, and earn university and college degrees in a variety of majors, including business.
